As parents in Northwest Houston, we get it. That is exactly why we set out to build the most family friendly laundromat in Cypress, TX. Whether you are dropping off your work clothes for the week or tackling the household laundry yourself, we want our store to feel like a safe space, not a stressful chore.
Transforming the Waiting Game
For decades, laundromats were just rows of metal machines and a few hard plastic chairs. But families usually spend about two to three hours a week inside these spaces. For a three-year-old, even 20 minutes can feel like forever.
Enter the LaundryCares Foundation. They realized we could turn that empty waiting time into reading time. We partnered with them to install a dedicated “Read, Play, Learn” center right inside Royal Hill Laundry.
Our “Read, Play, Learn” Book Nook
This isn’t just a dusty box of old toys in the corner. It is a bright, clean space filled with soft seating, interactive learning materials, and high-quality children’s books.
While you load up our high-capacity commercial machines, your little ones have a quiet, engaging spot to explore a new story. They are even encouraged to take a book home to build up their own personal libraries.
