At Royal Hill Laundry, we talk a lot about “family.” We are family-owned, and we serve families every day. But for us, “family” isn’t just a marketing term, it is the foundation of a healthy community and a reflection of God’s design.
As we close out January, a month often dedicated to recognizing the Sanctity of Human Life, we want to shine our light on a partner that is doing the hard, holy work of protecting the unborn and building strong families right here in Cypress and Northwest Houston: Care Net Pregnancy Center.
More Than a Choice
We support Care Net financially and through volunteering because their mission aligns with our heart: to demonstrate the love of Christ to those facing a pregnancy decision.
We love that Care Net operates in a “loving, confidential atmosphere.” They don’t offer judgment; they offer resources. They provide the spiritual, physical, and emotional support that empowers women to choose life. In fact, statistics show that when women receive the genuine support and resources they need, 9 out of 10 times, they choose life.
The Forgotten Half: Mentoring Fathers
One of the specific reasons we are so passionate about Care Net Cypress is their intentional focus on the father.
For every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy, there is a partner. Often, he is scared, unprepared, or absent. Care Net is dedicated to inspiring men to become involved, committed, and responsible fathers.
- Male Mentorship: Fathers can meet one-on-one with male volunteers who encourage them, share the Gospel, and walk the path of fatherhood with them.
- Practical Skills: They offer parenting classes to teach men how to be godly partners and leaders within the home.
Why This Matters to Us
We believe that God creates human life in His image at conception. But being “pro-life” means being “pro-family.” It means wrapping our arms around the mother and the father, ensuring they have the village they need to raise that child.
