Introduction

The services provided by the laundromat that has accepted and processed your order (Royal Hill Enterprises Inc DBA Royal Hill Laundry, hereinafter referred to as “Royal Hill Laundry”) are subject to your (“Customer”) compliance and acceptance with the terms and conditions set forth below.

Please read the following agreement carefully. “Customer” use of any of Royal Hill Laundry’s services indicates an agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below.

This agreement is strictly between Royal Hill Laundry and the Customer and does not in any way constitute or imply any relationship with any other parties. As a condition to using any of Royal Hill Laundry’s services, and for the mutual benefit of both Royal Hill Laundry and the Customer, the undersigned (“Customer”) agrees to the following terms and conditions:

These terms apply to all services provided by Royal Hill Laundry, including both wash-dry-fold services and self-service machine usage.

Garment Care, Missing or Damaged Goods

  1. Royal Hill Laundry will use industry standard efforts to try to ensure that washing, drying and folding services are maintained at industry standard quality.
  2. Royal Hill Laundry accepts all Customer garments on the basis of weight and does not perform a piece-by-piece count.
  3. Royal Hill Laundry due to time constraints does not read manufacturer suggested care and washing / drying labels.
  4. Royal Hill Laundry uses only front-load washers with an extremely fast extraction cycle to wash all Customer clothes.
  5. Royal Hill Laundry accepts no liability for damage due to normal wear and tear or shrinkage during washing and drying.
  6. Royal Hill Laundry accepts no liability for “special care” and delicate items that require special attention to be cleaned.
  7. Royal Hill Laundry reserves the right to refuse cleaning any garment.
  8. Royal Hill Laundry does not guarantee removal of all stains.
  9. Royal Hill Laundry is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the clothing or bags such as money, jewelry, or anything else.
  10. We ask each Customer to please determine whether they can accept the loss of any garment, if not please do not leave it with us.
  11. Royal Hill Laundry reserves the right to send Customer garments to any of Royal Hill Laundry’s or Royal Hill Laundry’s affiliates’ facilities for washing, drying and folding services.
  12. Customer must notify Royal Hill Laundry within 5 business days of receipt of a delivery of any lost or damaged items from that particular delivery, failure to do so constitutes waiver of a claim for any lost or damaged items from that delivery.

Self-Service Terms and Liability Waiver

  1. Use of Equipment: Self-service customers (“Self-Service Customer”) are responsible for the proper use of all equipment. Improper use may result in damage to clothing or personal injury. Royal Hill Laundry is not responsible for any damage to clothing or personal belongings resulting from Self-Service Customer’s use of laundry equipment.
  2. Self-Service Customer’s Property: Royal Hill Laundry is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items left unattended on the premises. Self-Service Customers are responsible for monitoring their own belongings at all times.
  3. Assumption of Risk: By using Royal Hill Laundry’s self-service facilities, Self-Service Customer acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with the use of laundry equipment and presence on the premises.
  4. Waiver of Liability for Personal Injury: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Self-Service Customer waives any and all claims against Royal Hill Laundry for any personal injuries or property damage sustained while on Royal Hill Laundry’s premises, except those directly resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct by Royal Hill Laundry. These injuries include, but are not limited to: slips, trips, falls, head trauma, cuts, burns, electrical shock, musculoskeletal injuries, crushing injuries from equipment, allergic reactions, respiratory distress, or any other bodily injury that may occur on the premises.
  5. Release of Liability: Self-Service Customer, for themselves and on behalf of their heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby releases and holds harmless Royal Hill Laundry, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, losses, and liability arising out of or related to any injury, disability, or death Self-Service Customer may suffer, or loss or damage to person or property, whether arising from the negligence of Royal Hill Laundry or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This release of liability extends to incidents or harm caused by other customers, criminal acts such as robbery or assault, and emergency situations including but not limited to fire, flood, power outage, equipment malfunction, or any other occurrence beyond Royal Hill Laundry’s reasonable control. If an employee is available during an emergency or incident, they will make reasonable efforts to assist, including calling appropriate authorities, medical services, or fire services as needed, but Royal Hill Laundry and its employees are not liable for the outcome of such situations or any delay in response from emergency services.
  6. Indemnification: Self-Service Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Royal Hill Laundry from any loss, liability, damage, or cost that Royal Hill Laundry may incur due to Self-Service Customer’s presence in or upon the premises, except those directly resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct by Royal Hill Laundry.
  7. Proper Use of Facilities: Self-Service Customer agrees to: a. Use machines only as intended and according to posted instructions b. Not overload machines c. Not use any dyes, chemicals, or other substances that may damage machines d. Clean lint traps after using dryers e. Dispose of trash in designated receptacles f. Report any equipment malfunctions to Royal Hill Laundry staff immediately
  8. Children: Children must be supervised at all times. Self-Service Customer assumes all responsibility for any minors they bring to the premises.
  9. Compliance with Rules: Self-Service Customer agrees to comply with all posted rules and regulations. Royal Hill Laundry reserves the right to ask any Self-Service Customer to leave the premises for failure to comply with these rules.

Pickup and Delivery Service

  1. Service Availability: Royal Hill Laundry offers pickup and delivery services within designated service areas. Service availability may vary based on location and scheduling.
  2. Scheduling: Customers must schedule pickup and delivery services at least 24 hours in advance. Royal Hill Laundry will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested time windows but cannot guarantee specific pickup or delivery times.
  3. Minimum Order: A minimum order value of $35.00 is required for pickup and delivery service.
  4. Service Fees: Delivery fees may apply based on distance and order size. Current delivery fees will be communicated at the time of scheduling and are subject to change without notice. A fee may be charged if the driver arrives at the scheduled pickup location and no laundry is available. Driver will make all efforts to text and call the customer and will wait a maximum of 5 minutes before departing. A one-time courtesy waiver of this fee may be granted at Royal Hill Laundry’s discretion.
  5. Designated Pickup/Delivery Location: Customer must designate an accessible area for pickup and delivery in advance. No person needs to be present at the time of pickup or delivery, but laundry must be left in the pre-arranged accessible location.
  6. Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery time. Late cancellations or missed pickups/deliveries may result in a cancellation fee of $10.00.
  7. Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances: Royal Hill Laundry reserves the right to reschedule pickups or deliveries due to inclement weather, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to promptly notify customers of any necessary changes.
  8. Packaging: Customer is responsible for properly bagging or packaging items for pickup. Royal Hill Laundry reserves the right to refuse pickup of items that are improperly packaged, unsanitary, or otherwise unsuitable for transport.
  9. Delivery Verification: Customer agrees to inspect delivered items at the time of delivery. Any claims regarding missing or damaged items must be reported within 5 business days as specified in the Garment Care section.
  10. Liability: Royal Hill Laundry’s liability for items during pickup and delivery is subject to the same limitations outlined in the Disclaimer section of this agreement.

Allergy Notice

Be aware Royal Hill Laundry does wash clothes in shared washing machines where different detergents are used, and it is possible that small amounts of prior detergents, which may not be hypoallergenic or to which customer may have an allergy, may not be completely rinsed out of these washing machines. By voluntarily using Royal Hill Laundry’s services, including, but not limited to, wash, dry and fold services, Customer acknowledges such possibility and risk and assumes the risk of any resulting injury resulting therefrom.

COVID-19 and Health Safety Policies

  1. Safety Measures: Royal Hill Laundry implements health safety measures in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines to maintain a safe environment for all customers and employees.
  2. Ozone Sanitization: Royal Hill Laundry utilizes ozone sanitization technology as part of our cleaning processes. While this technology is 99% effective in eliminating bacteria, viruses, and other contaminants, we cannot guarantee 100% sanitization of all items.
  3. Customer Responsibility: Customers are expected to follow all posted health safety guidelines while on the premises, including any mask requirements, social distancing protocols, or capacity limitations that may be in effect.
  4. Illness: Customers exhibiting symptoms of contagious illness are asked to refrain from using our self-service facilities and to utilize our pickup and delivery services instead.
  5. Sanitization Practices: Royal Hill Laundry regularly sanitizes high-touch surfaces and equipment. However, customers are encouraged to use provided sanitizing products on equipment surfaces before use.
  6. Assumption of Risk: By using our services, Customer acknowledges the inherent risk of exposure to contagious diseases in any public place and assumes all associated risks.

Laundry Card System

  1. Card Requirement: Royal Hill Laundry operates as an all-laundry card facility for self-service machines. Customers must purchase and load money onto a laundry card to use self-service machines. For full-service laundry (drop-off, pickup, and delivery), customers may use their laundry card, cash, or credit card as payment methods.
  2. Card Ownership: The physical laundry card belongs to the Customer after purchase, as does the monetary value loaded onto the card.
  3. Loading Funds: Cards may be loaded with funds at designated kiosks within the facility. Minimum and maximum load amounts may apply.
  4. Non-Refundable: Funds loaded onto laundry cards are non-refundable. No cash refunds will be provided for unused balances.
  5. Card Registration: Customers are strongly encouraged to register their laundry cards. Registration can only be completed: a. In-store at the customer service desk b. By calling the store directly if unable to visit in person
  6. Lost or Stolen Cards: a. If a registered card is lost or stolen, the card can be replaced for a $1.00 fee, and the balance will be transferred to the new card. b. Unregistered cards cannot be replaced, and any balance on the card will be forfeited if the card is lost or stolen.
  7. Card Transfer: Laundry cards and their balances are non-transferable between customers.
  8. Expiration and Inactivity: Laundry cards do not expire. However, cards with no activity for 12 consecutive months may be subject to a monthly inactivity fee of $2.00 until the balance is depleted or the card is used again.

Loyalty Program

  1. Enrollment: All customers who register their laundry card are automatically enrolled in the Royal Hill Laundry loyalty program at no additional cost.
  2. Benefits: The loyalty program provides benefits which may include but are not limited to: a. Points for every dollar spent b. Special promotions and discounts c. Birthday rewards d. Referral bonuses
  3. Point Accrual and Redemption: Points accrue based on actual money spent, excluding taxes and fees. Points may be redeemed as specified in current program literature available in-store and online.
  4. Expiration: Loyalty points expire after 12 months of account inactivity.
  5. Program Modifications: Royal Hill Laundry reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the loyalty program or any aspect of it at any time without prior notice.
  6. Termination of Membership: Royal Hill Laundry reserves the right to terminate or suspend any customer’s participation in the loyalty program if the customer: a. Violates any terms of this agreement b. Engages in any illegal activity on the premises c. Provides false or misleading information d. Abuses the program benefits or privileges e. Engages in any activity deemed detrimental to Royal Hill Laundry
  7. Communication: By participating in the loyalty program, customers consent to receive communications regarding their account status, rewards, and special offers.

Disclaimer

ROYAL HILL LAUNDRY’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE LIMITED TO GENERAL MONEY DAMAGES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THE CHARGES FOR THE TERM OF SERVICE PAID BY CUSTOMER IN THE TERM UNDER WHICH THE DAMAGES ARE ALLEGED TO HAVE OCCURRED. THIS LIABILITY SHALL BE THE EXTENT OF ROYAL HILL LAUNDRY’S LIABILITY REGARDLESS OF THE FORM IN WHICH ANY LEGAL OR EQUITABLE ACTION MAY BE BROUGHT AND THE FOREGOING SHALL CONSTITUTE CUSTOMERS EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. IN NO EVENT WILL ROYAL HILL LAUNDRY BE HELD LIABLE OR BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE LOSS OR DAMAGES WHETHER OR NOT ROYAL HILL LAUNDRY KNEW OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN OF THE LIKELIHOOD OF ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES. ROYAL HILL LAUNDRY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES RENDERED UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.

Entire Agreement / Choice of Law

This agreement and any documents referred to herein constitute the complete, exclusive, and entire agreement between the parties, may not be modified except in writing signed by both parties, and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, Harris County, in which the services are provided.

By using Royal Hill Laundry’s services, Customer acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
